Former Deer Run Media members Jordan Berger and Lucas McKay present to you Sunflower - a creative partner and production company specializing in branded films for those who care deeply about the planet, human wellbeing and having fun.

Let us elaborate…

We’re filmmakers with over a decade of experience crafting narrative & documentary films, as well as short & long-form ads for a host of clients. At this point, we’ve dipped our toes in a little bit of everything but now we’re refocusing.

Sunflower works with mission-driven brands striving to make a real difference in the world. Brands who prioritize their greater cause, the planet and it’s inhabitants over profit. Brands that put the why before the what and never loose sight of having a good time.

We focus everything on storytelling. The daily barrage of ads, videos, and images demanding our attention at every second rarely creates any real impression and can easily cause an information overload. We believe story-driven films hold a distinct advantage at crafting lasting, genuine connections that result in real action.

Leading with long-form branded films, we create a unique experience wherein both the brand and viewer have the opportunity to slow down and explore what matters most. From here, we can create bite-sized content (for TV, web, social) in support of an overall marketing campaign.

To put it simply: We don’t do beauty spots or clickbait ads. We only tell stories that get to the heart of why a brand exists in the world.
